  13. Symptom:      When printing from a DOS workstation to the Macintosh 
  14.               print queues, the job sits in the queue, or only a banner 
  15.               page prints out intermittently.  Sometimes everything is 
  16.               fine.

  18. Problem:      By default using the regular Postscript driver should be 
  19.               fine for most printing from DOS workstations.  But, if jobs 
  20.               are sitting in queues or only banner pages are printing 
  21.               this may be a problem related to the end of file character 
  22.               (EOF) in the document.  If when doing the postscript 
  23.               translation the EOF character is found in a portion of the 
  24.               document itself, then the document won't print.  This 
  25.               usually happens when a Postscript binary file is 
  26.               encapsulated in a Postscript file.

  28. Solution or 
  29. Work-around:  Set up your print job in PRINTCON and PRINTDEF with the 
  30.               Postscript Binary driver instead of Postscript.  The 
  31.               Postscript binary driver interprets EOF differently than 
  32.               the regular Postscript driver.
